On 12th September- 6th October 2013 in celebration of what would have been the Ivor Novello-winning singer's 30th birthday, Proud Camden and The Amy Winehouse Foundation presented Amy Winehouse: For You I Was a Flame, an exhibition curated by the Amy Winehouse Foundation with the support of Amy’s family, ahead of the late star's 30th birthday. The exhibition consisted of specially chosen photographs alongside works from leading graffiti artists Mr Brainwash and Bambi, as well as a Gerald Laing piece from Amy’s own collection. ‘..a once in a lifetime opportunity to view both unseen and iconic images of an ordinary North London girl who touched the hearts of millions.’ WSJ
